Miles Ellenby, MD, Associate Professor, Department of Pediatrics, was recently quoted in a News-Review article about telemedicine. In the article, Dr. Ellenby said, “OHSU has been using the telemedicine system with Sacred Heart Medical Center doctors in Eugene for three years. They've consulted together on about 80 pediatric patients. As a result, about a quarter to a third of the children didn't have to be transported to Portland because of the new technology.”
