Relaxation and other biobehavioral techniques help kids gain a sense of control.”
Wired Magazine highlights the newest breast-feeding technology presented at the Consumer Electronics Show. When asked about the benefits of such technologic advances for new mothers, Katie Au, M.D., says, “pumping can be overwhelming. Therefore, any product or new technology that has the potential to make pumping easier is exciting and welcomed.”
James Hancey, M.D., discusses the mental benefits of “decluttering”; Hancey says, “a lot of people are stressed by too much stimulation…by tidying up, you get fewer distractions, which means fewer stimulants that would cause anxiety.”
