WHAT: 

Learn about the science of reproductive health, COVID-19 and vaccines through a series of informal public discussions called Science Café, hosted by Oregon Health & Science University’s Oregon National Primate Research Center. Each hour-long talk is presented by an OHSU expert who will share noteworthy research efforts involving the primate research center.

This year’s Science Cafés are being held virtually due to the pandemic.

WHEN: 

7 to 8 p.m. Thursdays between Oct. 28 and Nov. 18.
 

Oct. 28: “Do COVID-19 Vaccines Affect Menstruation?”

Nov. 4: “Virus, Vaccine and Virility: Exploring the Impact of COVID-19 on Men’s Health and Fertility”

 

Nov. 11: “Vaccinating for Two: COVID-19 Vaccination during Pregnancy and Lactation”

Nov. 18: “Bridging the Gap: Respectful Discourse in the Time of COVID”

WHERE: 

All Science Café talks will be live-streamed online.  Viewers are asked to register and submit questions in advance by sending an email to onprcoutreach@ohsu.edu. A link to view each presentation will be provided following registration.
