Community COVID-19 vaccine clinics offered throughout Portland metro area
Aug. 23, 2023, UPDATE: OHSU is not currently organizing community vaccination events. OHSU patients can obtain vaccinations during in-person appointments with their OHSU primary care provider. Community members can also schedule a vaccination appointment at a participating OHSU pharmacy through the Vaccines and Boosters at OHSU webpage. And other resources are available through the Oregon Health Authority’s Getting Vaccines in Oregon webpage. The events listed below were last updated on Jan. 18, 2023.
Oregon Health & Science University is partnering with local organizations to improve access to COVID-19 vaccines by holding community vaccination events throughout the Portland metro area.
These events are focused on improving vaccine access to Black, African American, Asian, Pacific Islander, Native American, Latino/a/x, immigrants and refugees, LGBTQ and other historically underserved community members.
Following federal and state authorization for younger age groups in 2022, OHSU's community events now also offer original vaccination series for indviduals as young as 6 months old and omicron variant-fighting bivalent booster shots for individuals as young as 5 years of age.
Listed below are the currently scheduled free community vaccine clinics and the vaccines being offered.
- 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 22, 2023, Play Grow Learn's Healthy Meal Food Box Distribution and REACH/OHSU Mobile Vaccination Clinic.
- Sunrise Center, 18901 E. Burnside, Portland, OR 97233.
- Moderna bivalent boosters will be available for ages 6 months to 5 years. Pfizer bivalent boosters will be available for ages 5 years and older.
All are welcome, and can get vaccinated at OHSU community vaccination events without an appointment or identification.
