OHSU statement regarding dental lawsuit

OHSU extends its heartfelt condolences to Mr. Black’s family. The passing of a patient, under any circumstance, is devastating to all involved. At OHSU, we do our collective best to heal, save lives and advance health. While federal patient privacy laws prevent us from discussing protected health information, we are fully confident that the appropriate actions were taken in this case. Any allegation that OHSU concealed or misrepresented information is completely unfounded.
